Gabe Dagrezio

Short Biography

Gabe began his musical journey as the frontman of The New Story, an Italian touring band that released two LP albums under EMI/Virgin Records in the early 2000's. Through this experience which allowed him to spend significant time in the recording studio as the artist, he discovered a deep passion for the art of making records, being an avid consumer of recorded music since early childhood. This realization set him on a path to master both performance engineering, and production.

A skilled guitarist, songwriter, and singer, Gabe has performed thousands of shows worldwide, both as a solo artist and as part of an ensemble. His extensive experience on stage and musical literacy have become invaluable assets in his work as an audio engineer. Working with Gabe brings a performer’s sensitivity and an artist’s perspective to the technical process of recording and mixing, creating a connection between the creative and technical aspects of music.

In 2021, he earned a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, Contemporary Guitar and Music Technology, further solidifying his ability to merge these complementary skill sets. Whether miking up an instrument, coaching a client towards their best take, or crafting a mix that resonates emotionally, Gabe draws from a multi-faceted expertise to benefit every project.
